Resumen

La inclusión es difícil de realizar a nivel mundial. En los Estados Unidos y Canada, un obstáculo es la división entre educación "general" y educación "especial". Para facilitar la inclusión de estudiantes excepcionales se necesita un nuevo modelo de formación del profesorado. Este elemento introduce el Sistema para el Entendimiento del Rendimiento Individual en el Aprendizaje (S.U.I.L.P.). Derivado de la neuropsicología, la psicología multicultural, la pedagogía y la sociología, el S.U.I.L.P. proporciona un marco holístico y un vocabulario común para entender el rendimiento académico de todos los alumnos-- a través del desarrollo y en diferentes contextos. Esto también establece canales para la colaboración y la fusión final entre la educación general y la educación especial.
