The journal Cuadernos de Geografíade la Universitat de València is one of the oldest journals of our discipline in Spain. Throughout more than 100 volumes, its pages have witnessed the transformations of the territory and its landscapes, as well as the societies that inhabit them and the activities they perform. Many people -professionals and passionate about Geography- have shared their rubric with the readers of Cuadernos. Their contributions reflect the evolution of the discipline, its perspectives and objects of interest, the increasingly sophisticated research methods and attest to the contribution that, from our universities and research centers, we can make to achieve a better future. With the aim of maximizing this impact, the preferential treatment that the magazine has given to the Valencian reality has been supplemented, during the last years, with a broader perspective thanks to contributions that deal with other territories of the Spanish and world geography.
