La actividad desplegada por el ilustrado valenciano Antonio José Cavanilles en París (1777-1789) fue de suma importancia. Este artículo trata de recoger esta fructífera labor en torno a tres facetas: la de suministrador de noticias culturales a los ilustrados españoles (Juan Bautista Muñoz y José Viera); la de receptor de fuentes y referencias culturales ofrecidas por parte de sus compatriotas en España, para contestar a Masson, en el episodio de la Encyclopédie; y por último, sus actividades y publicaciones botánicas en la capital francesa.Downloads
