El teatro lírico valenciano: trayectoria histórica

Resumen

The inauguration of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia was an unbeatable opportunity to publicize the scenic production of composers born in the Valencian Community. However, after a study of the programming and dissemination of the same, it does not seem to have had the expected effect. But can we say that the scenic production of Valencian composers has been prolific? For this it is necessary to analyze from a historical point of view the richness of the Valencian lyrical heritage and thus be able to see what opportunities it offers for its dissemination. That is why in this article we review the historical trajectory of the Valencian lyrical theater.
