Call for papers: The crossroads between science and warfare

Science and technology are intrinsically linked to social changes and advances, and this also affects the development of armed conflicts. The fields of physics, chemistry, engineering and now also artificial intelligence, but also medicine and other disciplines, have produced significant changes in global conflicts. In this Metode SSJ monograph we aim to analyse the different interactions between science and technology and warfare. Articles dealing with historical, ethical, or social aspects are welcome.

• Deadline for submission: 11 April 2025.
• Publication due date: volume 4, 2025.
• Submission languages: Catalan, Spanish, or English.
• Length: 16,000 – 20,000 characters (including spaces and bibliographical references). For more information, check the Author guidelines.
