Desarrollo y situación actual de los estudios de eficacia escolar

摘要

La eficacia escolar viene siendo uno de los objetivos de estudio desde hace algunas décadas y actualmente continúa acaparando el interés de investigadores y prácticos de la educación. En este trabajo pretendemos analizar el desarrollo experimentado por los estudios de eficacia tanto en el ámbito de la investigación como en la implantación de los procesos de mejora de los centros y su evaluación. Nos centramos en los siguientes aspectos: 1) La importancia de la teoría en la investigación sobre eficacia, tras unos primeros años carentes de la misma; 2) La nueva aproximación al concepto de eficacia, entendida como "valor añadido"; 3) El desarrollo experimentado en la medida de las variables implicadas en los estudios; 4) Los nuevos planteamientos metodológicos, referidos concretamente al análisis de datos; y 5) La implantación de procesos de mejora de centros y su correspondiente evaluación
