Abstract
This article aims to reflect on a fundamental work in the field of community development and community social work: Methodology of Community Intervention by the prominent Latin American intellectual Ezequiel Ander Egg. Recognized for its interdisciplinary approach and its influence on academic training in Latin America, this text is considered a key piece for the understanding and development of these fields. Based on a detailed analysis of the work, its content is linked to broader debates around social work and social policies. It is concluded that the work maintains its relevance since its publication, being a constant reference for professionals and academics in the area. Likewise, critical reflections are presented on specific aspects of the text, providing new perspectives to the study and application of its proposals.
