Abstract

Penitencia de Amor can be considered a real art of love whose strategies are shown in its dramatic structure. The loving process is constitued by the epistolary exchanges and by the meetings among the lovers. In both cases, we are in front of four dramatic segments; a fact which confirms the mechanism of the actions. Such determinism is imposed by the pattern of La Celestina. Nevertheless, in the last part, Nertano ?s half punishment invalidates the laws of the sentimental tradition.
