This article discusses the various intellectual currents of the Spanish University in the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries: Scholasticism, Spiritualism, Nominalism, Lullism and Humanism. The primitive Comedia de Calisto y Melibea, born in this «contex» as a text that challenges traditional scholasticism, logic and dialectic and even the indiscriminate use of authorities in traditional education.
