Abstract
This paper aims to analyze how the spelling and typographic rules described in Ortografía de la lengua española (OLE, 2012) are followed in some scientific-technical periodical publications (and, specifically, the medical-surgical). For this purpose, the most frequent errors from a cor-pus of scientific publications will be discussed.
