Digital media must face the challenge of the story, the challenge of rendering true multimedia narrative structures what are now just a collection of juxtaposed remnants, joined at random. This requires overcoming some theoretical misunderstandings and some production practices that prefer the quantitative aspects to the qualitative ones. In short, it demands professionals capable of creating complex narrative structures, hypertextual and interactive, aimed at a cyber-reader. This challenge requires a training bet that combines the technical skills relating to the various media with the procedures that allow the narrative understanding of complex phenomena.
