Our work focuses on various aspects related to the dissemination of methods employed in cognitive behavioural psychology and NLP, i.e. gaining access to the usage of redirection techniques treating cognitive distortions and the operation of subjective interpretation transformations of one’s environment and any kind of events, respectively. This task is carried out by means of observation and the practical usage of perceptive data (concerning sight, hearing and feeling) with special emphasis on practical linguistic application. Therefore, we have analysed the most significant linguistic modifications proposed by these particular branches of psychology which are used in psychotherapy aiming to help clients interpret reality in the most appropriate mode in order to overcome their altered psychological conditions.
