When the dispute goes in favor and the discourse represents the against: historical-philosophical concepts and their epochal transfer.
Abstract: Behind the concepts are hidden as many truths as realities and to elucidate them we extract, as if it were a fluid, their distilled truth. Folded to its original etymological sense, the verb disputare implies an extractive selection of what one wants to orient organically and adequately. For this reason, this paper deals with the concepts and their role as a generator of disputes. Taking advantage of the recent publication of the collective volume edited by Maximiliano Hernández and Héctor del Estal: Conceptos en disputa, disputas sobre conceptos (Dykinson 2022), a tour of the thirteen contributions that compose it is carried out, whose connection is to show plurality of perspectives contained in a concept, as well as its historical, political and epistemological transfer.
