We evaluate in this paper the accessibility showed by the neighbourhood of Cabanyal- Canyamelar (waterfront of Valencia) in relation with the three campuses the University of Valencia has in the metropolitan area in order to establish the viability of the location of new university facilities as a part of a wider strategy trying to promote a functional revitalisation. We apply specific SIG-T tools to calculate the average time-distance from each city block of the neighbourhood of Cabanyal-Canyamelar to each of the three campuses now existing. These results are interpreted taking into account the mobility patterns of the university community.Downloads
