Peer review process

Peer-view process

Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Literary Education, regardless of the category (Article, Monographs), undergo a peer-review process or a blind peer-review process.

First, the Editorial Board preselects the manuscripts to determine if they comply with the thematic and formal requirements of the publication guidelines of the JLE. Papers that do not meet these requirements will not proceed to the next phase of the peer-review process.

Reviewers are asked to submit their evaluations within 30 days of confirming their availability. Please note that the process could take longer for reasons not attributable to the journal management. Manuscripts are evaluated anonymously; the author is not informed about who is reviewing the paper.

Taking into account the reviewers' evaluations, the Editorial Board communicates the result of the review to the author. The result can be: accept submission, revisions required, resubmit for review, or decline submission. If the paper is considered for resubmission, the author should make major changes and then resubmit it. If the submission is declined, it is advisable not to submit it again. The Editorial Board also decides on any changes and modifications considered appropriate.
