After a few years of exile in Mexico, Joan Sales returned to Barcelona in 1948 with the obsession to publish as much as possible in Catalan. From the publishing house Ariel, he began his task of trying to crack the Franco regime through children's literature. He continued later with the creation of the collection "El Club dels Novel·listes" and ended up creating the publishing house "Club editor". This article aims to show the various strategies used by the publisher to outflank censorship and create a cultural platform that would contribute to the cultural reconstruction of a country that had crumbled after 1939
