Peer review process

Contributions submitted to Memorabilia will be subject to double peer reviewing according to the double peer review system, with outside assessors to the journal. In case of disparity of opinions among the reviewers, the contribution will be submitted to a third evaluation.

The evaluation form will take into account the following aspects of the contribution submitted for evaluation: adequacy of the title, the summary of the key words to the content of the proposal; scientific relevance, the topic’s interest and novelty; the proposal’s scientific soundness and the starting hypotheses, as well as the methodology; the discourse’s argumentative coherence and adequacy; the relevance of the results; the quoted bibliography and the adequacy to the journal’s publication standards.

The result and the comments, suggestions or corrections indicated by the reviewers will be sent to the author, who will be informed of the decision adopted according to the following stages:

1) accepted publication without changes

2) publication accepted with modifications

3) rejection

Memorabilia will not accept originals that have been rejected again. Authors will have ten working days to introduce the pertinent modifications, in case they are so informed.
