The present work analyzes the expression en lo que cabe, construction in process of fixation as discursive operator that shows certain complexity in its construction and macrosyntactic behavior. It satisfies some requirements of the so-called discursive operators, but coexists with free construction. Its value is to limit an assessment and reduce the argumentative force of its scope.
