Abstract
Natalia Ginzburg was one of the most sensitive narrators of the 20th century Italian literature. For her profound humanity and strong morality, she must be remembered just over a hundred years after her birth. Close to the groups of anti-fascist intellectuals, her production varied and ranged from narrative, to essay, to theatre. But her most famous novel still remains Family Lexicon where she recounts her family’s daily laundering through the ‘special’ linguistic code of its members. Afflictive lacerations and painful detachments also go through her latest book-inquiry, Serena Cruz, or True Justice, published in 1990, a year before she died.

Marcella Di Franco è docente di discipline letterarie, lingua e letteratura italiana e latina di Liceo Scientifico. Nata nel 1972, coltiva da sempre la passione per la scrittura creativa.
