Abstract

Aimed at the impacts caused by COVID-19 on education, this article intends to explore how each of the main agents related to the teaching and learning processes in the Brazilian context reacted: the teachers, the technological mediations and, finally, the students. In order to avoid any kind of covert rhetoric, the article is based on research data carried out by several reliable sources.

Author Biography

Lucia Santaella, Pontifícia Universidade  Católica de São Paulo

Lucia Santaella is a 1A researcher at CNPq, full professor at PUC-SP. She was a guest researcher at several European and Latin American universities. She published 54 books and organized 29, in addition to publishing almost 500 articles in Brazil and abroad. Santaella received the Jabuti awards (2002, 2009, 2011, 2014), the Sergio Motta award (2005) and the Luiz Beltrão award (2010).
