Abstract

This paper aims to explore the discourses on parental involvement in a school for all in relation to schoolsuccess. The goals are to identify different discourses on family involvement in school regarding schoolsuccess and arguments that justify them. It is a qualitative study based on 47 semi-structured interviewswith experts in the field of  education in different Autonomous Communities in Spain. The analysisshows strategies such as sharing objectives and actions between family and school, the family supportat home and giving school information to the family. These strategies seem to be linked to the socioeconomicfamily status and the action takenbythe schoolto facilitate participation.
